Natural scent for your laundry

Soap nuts are a fantastic natural detergent — eco-friendly, hypoallergenic, and inexpensive to use. The only downside: they don't add a scent to your laundry, unlike chemical detergents and fabric softeners. A few drops of pure essential oil will solve that — in a 100% natural way.

Our essential oils are 100% pure and natural, without additives or dilutions. The 5ml brown glass dropper bottle protects the oil from light, so the scent and quality are preserved longer. The dropper allows for precise dosing, drop by drop — a bottle will last a long time.

How to use with soap nuts

Three simple ways to naturally scent your laundry:

•       On the soap nut bag: Drip 5 to 10 drops of essential oil directly onto the laundry bag with your soap nuts and place it in the drum as usual.

•       In the fabric softener compartment: Add 5 to 10 drops to your washing machine's fabric softener compartment. The oil will disperse through the laundry during the final rinse cycle.

•       On a wool or cotton dryer ball: A few drops on the dryer ball for fresh-smelling laundry from the dryer.

Tip: Start with 5 drops and adjust the amount to your preference. Lavender has a softer scent, while orange comes through more strongly.

Choose your scent

 Lavender — soft and floral

Lavender is the classic choice for fresh laundry. Its soft, floral scent subtly lingers in your clothes and immediately associates people with clean and fresh. Our lavender oil is extracted from Bulgarian Lavandula Officinalis through steam distillation of fresh flowers.

Suitable for: bed linen, towels, underwear, everyday clothes.

 Orange — fresh and cheerful

Orange oil gives your laundry a sunny, fresh scent. Our orange oil is extracted by cold pressing the peel of sweet oranges (Citrus Sinensis). The scent is bright, sweet, and fruity — delightful in summer or for sportswear.

Suitable for: sports and loungewear, tea towels, bath textiles, summer clothes.

Also suitable for creating ambiance at home

Not just for laundry — our essential oils can also be used in an aroma diffuser, on a scent stone, or with your salt lamp for a pleasant scent in your home.

•       Aroma diffuser: 3 to 6 drops in the water reservoir.

•       Scent stone or salt lamp with scent dish: a few drops on the stone or in the dish.

•       In the bath: Mix 10 to 15 drops with a neutral bath oil or milk.

Combine for your own scent mix

Lavender and orange blend well together. Try 3 drops of lavender with 3 drops of orange on your laundry bag for a soft, cheerful scent — lovely for bedding.

Safe use

Intended for external use in laundry, on textiles, or for evaporation. Do not apply undiluted to the skin — essential oils are highly concentrated. Always dilute with a carrier oil if you wish to use it on the skin. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes.

Note with orange oil: Citrus oils are phototoxic. Avoid direct sunlight on the skin within 12 hours after skin contact.

Washing at high temperatures: Essential oil is flammable in its pure form. Using it in the wash is safe (due to dilution with water), but never use pure oil on dry fabric in the dryer without a preceding water phase.
