How do you wash with soap nuts?
Put 4 to 6 half nuts in a cotton wash bag and add it to the drum with your laundry. You can use the same nuts for up to 3 washes. Soap nuts have no scent of their own. A few drops of essential oil in the fabric softener compartment give your laundry a fresh scent.
What should you keep in mind?
Soap nuts contain no optical brighteners or bleach. For bright whites, add a little baking soda now and then. After use, the shells can go in your organic waste.
